We're now stepping in before the waste even happens — rescuing green beans and roasting them fresh.
We've started going further up the supply chain.
For the first time ever, we took specialty-grade green beans our roaster partners couldn't use and roasted them ourselves.
Our roaster partners kept offering us unroasted green beans they couldn't use. Specialty grade, nowhere to go. So for the first time ever, we roasted them ourselves.

Wonky Crop is a new chapter for Wonky. Instead of working at the end of the supply chain with already-roasted coffee, we're now going further back — taking unroasted specialty-grade green beans that our roaster partners couldn't use and roasting them fresh ourselves. Same mission, just earlier in the journey.
-
Nothing at all. These are specialty-grade beans from some of the most celebrated growing regions in the world. The reason they ended up without a commercial home has nothing to do with quality. It comes down to a volatile market where small roasters sometimes over-commit on volume. The beans are exceptional. The system is broken.
-
Every bag you buy earns you one entry into the draw to win a £750 Sage Barista machine and full at-home coffee bundle. There's no limit on entries — buy three bags across three origins and you get three entries. The winner is drawn at the end of June and announced publicly.
-
The roast date is 6th May. All Wonky Crop beans are roasted fresh in small batches — that's the whole point. You're getting the coffee at its absolute peak, not something that's been sitting in a warehouse for months.
-
Yes — that's the idea. You can mix and match across Colombia Huila, Rwanda Nkora and Costa Rica Tarrazú. Each bag counts as a separate giveaway entry regardless of origin.
-
When the stock is gone, it's gone — and the giveaway closes with it. Each Wonky Crop batch is a one-off drop. If you want in, don't wait.
-
Yes, on all orders over £50. A three-bag order across any combination of origins qualifies automatically. Orders under £50 are charged at £3.99.
-
All orders are dispatched within 48 hours. You'll receive a tracking notification as soon as your order is on its way.

We hope so. Wonky Crop depends on what our roaster partners have available, so we can't guarantee exact timing. The best way to be first to know is to stay on our newsletter list.
