Swiss Chocolate
Rescued from a family-run Swiss chocolatier, this one-off batch of 1,100 bags is made with Swiss dairy and sustainably sourced cacao, and it’s only “wonky” because a bar snapped coming out of the mould. Slightly imperfect to look at, perfectly delicious to eat, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Swiss artisan chocolate. Slightly broken.

Why is it Wonky chocolate?
Swiss chocolate chocolatiers work to exacting standards. When a bar snaps or breaks during demoulding, it gets pulled. Not because it tastes different. Just because it isn’t quite perfect enough. We rescue those delicious bars before they end up as waste.

The chocolate
- 1Where it comes fromA family chocolatier in Switzerland who have been making chocolate for three generations. They use sustainably sourced cacao and the finest Swiss dairy, the kind of setup that usually commands a very different price.
- 2What slightly broken meansSometimes a bar snaps or breaks coming out of the mould in a way that means it can’t be sold as a perfect bar. That’s the only thing wrong with it. Slightly imperfect to look at, completely perfect to eat.
- 3Why 1,100 bags?This isn’t a product line we’re building. It’s a single batch we rescued from one chocolatier. 1,100 bags, no restock. When they’re gone, that’s it.
This batch won’t last
1,100 bags. One maker. One batch. When they sell, that’s it. We’re not restocking. We’re not making a “wonky chocolate” product. This is a one-off and it’ll be gone faster than you’d think. You’re going to want to get one before someone else does.

“For three years we have been travelling Europe rescuing the best chocolate from the home of chocolate. And we have created something special. It is unique to us.”
Questions people ask before ordering
What does slightly broken actually mean?
Bumps, blemishes and small cracks. Cosmetic damage only, caused by transit or minor temperature changes. Nothing that affects the chocolate itself. No compromise on flavour. No compromise on texture.
Is the quality actually the same?
Yes. This is Swiss artisan chocolate made by producers who supply boutique shops at £50+ per kg. The quality hasn't changed. The only thing that's changed is the way it looks.
What if I don't like it?
We offer a 30 day happiness guarantee. If it's not right, drop us a message and we'll sort it. No awkward questions.
Why is there only 1,100 bags?
Because that's what was rescued. This is a one-off batch. We found it, we rescued it, and when it's gone it's gone. We won't be restocking this one.
Will you do more chocolate rescues?
We're always looking. But we can't promise what we'll find, or when. The whole point of Wonky is that every rescue is different. Sign up to hear about new rescues as soon as they happen.
