Too good to waste.
4 million cups of coffee are wasted every day.
Overproduction, end-of-line stock and test runs can leave good coffee without a buyer. We rescue it and find it a home. The mission extends to chocolate too.
Meet the mission →How is the coffee checked?
A Q Grader, a coffee quality specialist, tastes and assesses our rescued coffee. Your batch menu helps you explore its tasting notes and serving styles.
We are a tiny company with a big mission to reduce all unnecessary waste in the coffee industry.
We believe exceptional speciality coffee can be enjoyed without costing the earth, and no surplus should ever end up as waste. We are challenging the stigma around speciality coffee in a bid to provide a truly sustainable brew with exceptional taste.
More rescued products
A few good questions.
Is rescued coffee actually good?
Yes. We rescue surplus coffee from some of the best roasters, including Allpress, Caravan, Grind and Pact. Each coffee is quality checked, assessed and flavour profiled by our in-house Q Grader before it goes in your box.
Why does Wonky cost less?
Overproduction, end-of-line stock and test runs can leave good coffee without a buyer. We rescue it and pass the saving on, an average of over 50% against the RRP.
Which coffee should I choose?
Lucky is a mix of regular coffees, around 20 different types. Intense is a bold, handpicked selection. Flavoured is a mix of flavour-infused coffees, think caramel, chocolate and nuts. Decaf is a mix of decaffeinated coffees.
When will my order arrive?
